Becoming a Cold Steel fan

These days it's not hard to become a Cold Steel fan. They now have folders that are every bit as ergonomic and effectieve as any Spyderco or Benchmade, aside from all the hard use folders they still make. Hell, even their more 'fragile' models are more hard use than most other brands, as well as good cutters.
Their steel upgrades make them second to none now. I still love all my other folders, but CS is now officially my #1 brand in folders.

You're all being petty and silly.

If you want sophistication, ergonomics, value, quality steel, durability and creative ingenuity,

MANTIS is the only choice.

So there.

Cold Steel opened my eyes about folders, I haven't had one since my CRKT M16 with LAWKS folded inwards with the safety on, forcing teh shitty liner lock to the right and warping the liner and separating the zytel. I hear Cold Steel is suing them for sucking. Anyway I turned to small EDC fixed blades like the BK14 and ESEE 3 for years, because I tied, I guess foolishly, ALL folders with that shitty liner lock on that even shittier CRKT M16. Tri-Ad turned me around on the subject. I have since also grown fond of the AXIS lock of Benchmade but, since I am a Cold Steel loyalist, I tracked down some of the old "Ultra Lock" folders of theirs.

Jeer my stupidity if you wish, years of living with it, nothin but scar tissue now.
