I've had a lot of nice knives pass through my hands in the last couple years,I like to swap and trade,wheel and deal.The knives that have stuck have been camillus products. First it was the Talon,then the EDC,and I just recieved a patrol machete,all I can say is WOW!these are just outstanding products and I just wanted to publicly say thanks for putting them out with no hype or inflated prices.I guess I'd better start saving for that Fisk collaberation...whatever it is...

You are not alone! I am becoming more and more impressed with the Camillus and Becker lines myself. The talonite EDC put it WAY over the top! The Beckers are downright indestructable!! As for the FISK, I am DYIN' to see how that bowie turns out . . . it has to be incredible!!!!:eek: :D :eek:
 
I had bought a Becker Campanion years ago when they were made by Blackjack-WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK! I recently bought a new Camillus version of the same knife to keep as a beater.Talk about a GREAT improvement! Every grind is perfect and finish is outstanding!(unlike Blackjack version where grinds were off by a 1/4 in.from side to side and blade was actually crooked.)This handle feels like it was made for my hand-I love this knife! It has found a permanent in the kit I keep in the back of my Blazer. Thanks for producing a top quality product.

After getting my 2 EDC 154CM model knives, I am now looking at getting a Marine Knife just for the hell of it! I already own three model Marine blades! Two from Ka Bar (one is the D2 model) and one from Ontario!

What can I say, I like the design! It will be interesting to see how the Camillus model is similar or different.

Oh, the EDC 154CM knife is rather nice, shall we say?:)

You guys have mentioned a few of MY favorite CAMILLUS products. He is some eye candy of one of my other favorites..... the CQB1.

I've been a Camillus fan since S.E. Asia years ago. I was issued a Camillus military
camp knife and I carried / used it for years. Finally retired it when the pins got loose.
Now I carry a Buck 307 Wrangler stockman. It's a Camillus contract made knife so
I get to support two really great American companies at the same time. The Buck is
part of my "Yellow Handle" collection of which I own an mint example of every single
Camillus "Yello-Jaket" they ever made. So yes, I'd say I'm a very die hard Camillus fan.
 
Yup, Camillus people we is :D I've recently become a fan of the company as well. I have to hand it to Will for putting Camillus on the cutting edge with the Becker stuff and the Simonich and Ralph collaborations. Great stuff from a diverse company!

Gotta agree with your comment about WillF. (as much as I hate too.) :D

The improvements in quality, creativity and innovation from the House of Camillus are in LARGE part due to his efforts. Hard to imagine all that coming from him when you see him. ;)

yeah,got it in talonite too this weekend from Ron,it is perfectly named!what a knife!anxiously awaiting pics of the Fisk...
 
Fair dues Will, the Camillus range is now far more leading edge and exiting than before. To be honest the old range was reasonable but dull as ditch water mostly. The collaberations and more modern focus is far more desireable and joined with good prices, great quality and a solid company... Win win win!

Go after Benchmade Will! Get more collaberations and darn sexy models and they will go faster than an F15 Eagle! :)
 
Will, I have a pair of the Camillus Cuda CQB-1 knives, and those are my 2 favorite fixed-blade "fighters"!.:cool:.

Is there ANY CHANCE of Camillus coming-out with a version (CQB-3) with an 8-9 inch blade?.:).

That new Fallkniven Bowie SURE looks ALOT like the Cold Steel Trail Master Bowie with a different handle...

BTW...I'm SURE that Will F. will see to it that I get a Camillus CQB-1 (CQB-3?) with a 9 inch blade!.:D.

I am sure that if you can talk Will into it then it will be an awsome blade fur shur but it in case you can't talk him into it them I am sure that the Fallkniven will be much better then the CS.

Will Fennell if Dann talks you into it then ya gotta give the rest of us a chance for one too...:rolleyes: :cool: :eek:
 
Hi Folks,

I just stumbled into this thread from a link on the Camillus web site. The nice folks at UPS delived (today!) my new Talonite EDC. I have been playing with it for the past hour. What a beautiful knife!
