A few years back, they did online inductions and then had a couple offerings for inducted HOGs only. The SFNO LE was one, if I recall correctly. I don't know if they're still doing that.

But some of the more traditional HOGs still think you have to go to the show and meet the man in person. But I'm pretty sure if you send Jerry a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue, you can still get inducted for all practical purposes.

I have often wondered what the process was to be declared a "hog". Do any of these make me qualified?
Thousands of dollars for Busse and Kin. Done!
Hourly checking on blade forums for a great sale on a Busse knife. Done!
Told my wife just one more for the year. Never happened. Done!
Daily use and fondling of my Busse and Kin. I believe all this playing is making me go blind. Done!
Constantly waiting for two weeks to end. Done!
Am I missing something?

I'm pretty much there too, mate. Yet I still refer to myself as a piglet. I've been on this forum since 2011 or so. To me, in order to become a Hog, you've got to have been to one of the meets and spent some time with the seniors folks here..... Or/and have been inducted by Jerry.
