Hi everybody,
i've seen in this forum a tip for helping in shaping handle/fittings, providing bedding for the tang with epoxy in order to have everything aligned during take down/ reassembling operations.
It is suggested to use a release agent to be able to remove the tang from the handle...
...how do i remove the wax (or whatever...) afterward, in order to have a bomb-proof final glue-up? Are there also specific indications regarding the handle material (i.e. wood, stabilized wood...micarta) and the kind of cleaning agent?
Thank You
Stefano
