Beefy pocket utility in Crucible CPM3v and cherry burl

I used to, also, but every lanyard I've ever used did nothing but catch up on stuff, which is dangerous as hell, and then if it's NOT used, it's an awful looking hole in the handle. I really like the look of the recessed tang thong holes that some guys use, but that would be a serious liability on a tang this thin. :)

A great little knife! I find a lanyard hole very handy on a small knife.

Nice. Really nice. I will differ with STeven on this one - a 3 1/2 " handle would probably be a deal breaker for me. Even on a little knife I want enough length so that the handle doesn't feel like a truncated stub in my palm. From both ergonomic and aesthetic perspectives, I think the proportions work very well here.

As to a lanyard - I have no use for that on anything smaller than a full size chopper.

What I meant about a lanyard hole on a small knife is it gives you the opportunity to have a short thong with a bead or line with a fancy knot, an inch plus long to give you a little more to hold on to thus effectively lengthening the handle. (Not a tether of any sort.)

Beautiful knife Sir. Glad that I got to know of you from your stop by postings on the CPK sub. Of course this shows my own total ignorance beyond a certain realm, but still better to know of that not.
