Has this been discussed lately? Seems like 1/2 page signatures are the rage now, was there BRF guidence or signature size?

Is there a turned display sigs off setting?

EDIT: YEAH! I've turned off sig display! Goodbye inconsiderate page hogs.

I havent really noticed many large signatures.
On some forums, I have seen stupid signatures that are over a page.
Mine is only 540x129.

I went to private messages, edit profile, somewhere down there is a show/hide signature selector. I changed mine to hide. Perfecto.

Seems like it's the same/similar crowd as the chiclet whiners. ( Pay attention to ME!!!, it's the only way I feel validated as a human! WhAAA!)

Why whine about the sigs when you can simply turn off the sig viewer? Seems like you just want to stir the pot rather than just turn them off and be done with it. But no...you have to start a thread about it. Those that have overly huge sig lines are brought to a Supers attention and dealt with in a fair manner. It would also help if you point some out because I haven't seen any obnoxiously large sig lines in a long time.

User Control Panel, Edit Options. You can turn off avatars too if you want, and you can even turn off all images.

Different people might have different ideas of what they consider too big, but anything bigger than Rat's is likely to be stolen by pirates.

I better post Rat's current sig or people will get all confused if they read this thread after he changes it (sig changes are retroactive).

What is you're screen resolution anyway? If you're running something like 800x600 then some sigs will look huge. You're also living with something that was decent in 1995 or so and not really taking advantage of what your monitor is probably capable of. Most 17-19" LCDs have a native resolution of 1280x1024. Most CRTs look good there as well.
