Been a little out of sorts for a couple months, sorry

David sorry about the loss about Polly. But the upside to all of this is your love and friendship lasted twice as long as most of us dog lovers here on BF. I hope you find something to fill this void soon.

Very sorry to learn this David.
A pets death can hit so hard.
And, as Tex mentioned, I too hope you find something to fill that void.

David, I'm really sorry you lost your pal. Thanks for sharing, it sounds like Polly had a great life with you.

It's especially heart-wrenching when they pass in your arms as you are trying to get them medical help.

I am so sorry for your loss David. Things get better over time and you will be thinking about her every
time you hear a phone ring or a computer notification. Or even a fart. Sending lots of hugs from my family
to yours.

"There are those who entertain angels unknowingly." Heb 13:2

And sometimes it works in both directions. I guess our job is to recognize our angels while they are in our lives and do our best to be an angel in the hour of need. Sounds like you realized the angel that literally sat on your shoulder and you two were fulfilling that dictate for each other.

Wishing you consolation & peace in the short term and strength for the long haul. As for taking up a new friend, never say never.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I know how hard this can hit and how empty it can be without.
My wife is a huge bird lover and as such we have 10 birds(3 cockatiels, 4 budgies and 3 finches) we had 11 but one of the finches died recently from being egg bound.

Thank you all so much.

It really means a lot.

The way I grew up and for the most part still believe is some things are private for the most part.
It is really good to relate to people I respect and share many core beliefs with.

Thank you again Busse family.

Very very kind words shared by all.

I'm sorry for your loss, Brother. Pets are family, and it always hurts when they go. I'll pray that your grief subsides in due time, and that it's nothing but good memories after that.

While I can certainly understand why a loss that pulls at the heartstrings like that would derail things for a while, I must compliment you on the lighting fast response to my recent emails and shipment of my order. You’re the man!

I am sorry you lost your friend David.

I bet you have some great stories that you built up over the years and hope that their memory continues to shape you.

Respectfully,
David
