Been a week with the small sebbie 21. My thoughts

I want an update at 2 weeks and a month. At 2 weeks I started questioning my Insingo. At a month I realized I liked my Spyderco more. At 6 weeks the Insingo was sold.

Let us know how it grows or doesn't grow on you

Im a bored Mail handler working over nights waiting for more mail to arrive at my station most of my shift. What do you want from me? I gotta pass the time lol

Seems like you are most likely in violation of rules governing your terms of employment.

Pg.58(in part) states:
"8-11 Knives and Cutting Devices
The only knives authorized for use in the work area are those supplied by the
Postal Service. Personal knives are not authorized for use in Postal Service

Interesting tidbit, why don't you go discuss this with your supervisor get his input.

However I personally see nothing wrong with carring a knife to work, however advertising it on the internet may not be a good thing to do.

^no one likes a snitch :D

I hope you are referring to the OP, he has been blowing himself in repeatedly, thought a gentle reminder he may tone it down. Things you post on the internet can have a strange way of coming back to haunt you I'm sure you've also seen this.

Many carry a pocket knife. Its not nitpicked at or even brought up by anyone. But thanks.

I don't feel safe if they're allowing postal workers to carry their own knives. What is to stop them from getting the dreaded switchblade, easily the equivilent of a small nuke or anthrax strike and going postal. There are just way too many knives out there like the butterfly knife that are so deadly many districts inhabited by sane people have banned them.

Even the idea of a lock on a knife gives me the willies.

I must have carried a knife every day I worked for the Postal Service. That's from Part-Time Flexible Clerk to Station Manager. Quoting an NALC rule wouldn't have stopped me. :) (National Association of Letter Carriers.)

I'll just have to watch what I post when your around ;) :p

I'm new to crk knives as well. OP, have you noticed any lock stick in yours, mines seems to breaking in well, but now has developed intermittent lock stick. It's weird, and I've taken the knife apart multiple times now, more so than any other knife I've ever owned since it's so easy to do so.

I have none on my small so far and the large sebenza came in the mail today and there is no lock stick on it either. Will tell you if either develop any.

I have never had the lock bar stick on any of my sebbies, however I have used the old black magic marker trick on the blade where it interfaces with lock bar sort of a preventative measure. Some people use a leaded pencil on the interface also, just keep oil or grease away from that area. Looks like you have been bit pretty hard with knife acquisition and EDC, good for you !
