So your own colleagues on the department betrayed you and arrested you on a weapons charge. Now you have a criminal arrest record on the books that you will have to reveal every time you undergo a background check, whether the charge was eventually dismissed or not. The arrest stays on the books. All because of something stupid like a jealous boyfriend. Basically, the campus cops (I guess they were duly sworn if they actually arrested you and not merely detained you) were putting you in your place; reminding you in a very expensive (for you!) way that as a civilian "sheeple" you are expected to be unarmed and completely helpless. The cops who I used to work for doing video surveillance and dispatch (campus dept) arrested me. I guess I was flirting with another dorm resident who told her boyfriend. He told the cops I had a gun in my dorm. All they found was a knife but didn't want to look dumb and tried to pursue what they did have. The knife was legal to have on a CSU campus... so that made my Buck the most expensive production knife ever![]()
