OMG the GCB thats humungous man, my poor fingers :D

Looking good, Pugs.

Next time you post pics of these samples, could you also show the carving tools that you use. Having never worked with leather, I'm very curious about what are the right tools, and I'm sure others will be interested as well.

I could do that no probs, although my tools are few, im working on that, they can be very expensive as there are tons of different heads and sizes. I pretty much have the basic tools I need to get the work going.

Nah brother! Im just kidding there. I wouldnt do that to ya;) Prolly take six months and half a cow to wrap that thing! I am liking where all this carving is going tho. Great work!

Been working a bit more, this is one I just finished up, it's called a wood spirit, folklore says he is the keeper and protector of the woods, kind to all who care for the creatures and land and foe to anyone who does not. A lot of people carve them into there walking sticks and such.
Same pic different light.

That's super cool. I think that's my favorite so far. Looks like a lot of work.

Very nice work, it reminds me of Radagast the brown for the Lord of the Rings series. He looks like a mixture of a floral pattern and a old man.

Yeah his hair is almost leaf like, was very cool to do, but pretty hard with all the small detail.

How bout wood spirit man with a shaved head? Probably be perfect for beserka, course I don't know if he has a beard and stache or not. Maybe not.

You could offer a 2% discount for no hair? I just know I could make it in sales. NOT!

I am already trying to figure out what to send you next :D --- try some free hand wind patterns, or even a throat beard t-shirt: wolf howls at moon, dragons setting junk on fire, dudes with swords w/ ladies clutching their leg

Easy now man, im just a beginner here :D

Very nice Pugs! That would look so cool on an AK Bowie sheath:thumbup:

or a two tone KLVUK with no pants yet???? But might have to be on a wider blade.

Yes! I was thinking not quite Gandalf, but you hit the nail on the head with Radagast.

I don't think Tolkien ever revealed what happened to Radagast the brown. He was no longer around at the time of the War of the Rings, but what became of him (and the several other "wizards") seems to be unknown.
