this past July 5th my van rolled 3 times and I was flown in helicopter to hospital - my Uncle died in the wreck- only thing good was no other cars involved - been dealing with a lot - have not been here in some time but talked to Karda on phone - hope you are all doing well - Eric
 
I think we're probably all doing great compared to you. Your the one we should be hoping is doing ok.

Sorry for the loss of your uncle. Hope things are on good recovery path for you with no long lasting issues.

And any issues can be dealt with, I know this to be true.

For those here unfamiliar with Eric. He is a man of great honor with one of the biggest hearts I have known.
He is a disabled man, often in terrible physical pain, who goes out of his way to help humans find their way to sobriety and right living and also has been personally responsible for helping many of our 4-legged friends to find their "forever homes". Often these animals have days or even hours to live before being euthanized. He does these things at his own time and expense. He is one of those people whose friendship I truly cherish.
 
thank you both - Bawanna you always have my respect - Karda you too although you are too kind - I am moving along best I can - left hand doesn't work right yet - but at least can get around half way ok - hope to be able to help the dogs again soon - right now just trying to take care of the four I have and find a home for one of them (the county doesn't want me to have four)

If I had $1,000,000. Eric is one of those, besides Auntie Yangdu, that I would split it with. Because I know that nothing but good things for good people/animals/souls would come of it.
 
Terrible news about the accident but your four legged friends are most happy you're back as well as your humanoid friends. Glad to meet your acquaintance.

Hello... Welcome back! I am fairly new (about a year) but this place has become my second home. You sound like a marvelous person with a heart of gold. I look forward to getting to know you and reading your posts. It always nice to have positive energy on the forum. I am an animal lover and try and help any fluffy thing that needs it. Lately its been my two Maine coon cats (one very sick) but I always try and feed the birds and squirrels in my back yard. I have given up hunting... Not that there's anything wrong with it. Hunters are the greatest conservationists there are. I just cant bring myself to kill anymore, I guess I am getting soft in my old age. I love the pooch in your avatar.

New guy here as well, can relate to you both on the losing loved ones level :|, as well as being an animal lover myself and doing the right thing when I can help.
