Dang Daniel, It looks like you have took some big steps to improve things for you and thus for us your completly adicted customers.Way to go! That new Ti knife , is it hollow ground or is I fona be trippin'?
Awesome. I may be in the market for one of those Ti backpackers as well. Are you planning to anodize them?
I liked the bright green to blue anodizing you did on the bottle opener knives. That would be ultra cool![]()
WOOO HOOOO! So many knives!
I gotta say, those two choppers are sick! Love the 'dashi too, I've been making a bunch like that. Those Ti backpacking knives are awesome sauce as well!
That shop looks clean enough to eat in! (unlike mine)![]()
Quick question for you, where do you buy a granite block like that? I've been wanting something similar to make sure my center scribe lines for double ground blades are actually centered!
Have a Merry Christmas!
I love to see a knife take shape. Thanks for sharing..
Congrats on the granite plate. Looks like you got the one just like mine. You just can never have only one can you?
That Havok is just incredible. I really wish I had a use for more than one big blade.
I am going to make sure you get the one marked #001 if you want it.
They are all a shallow hollow grind. Tough yet slicey! I like to keep my hollow grinds gradual with the 10" wheel and make them taper over the whole grind as opposed to being thinner behind the edge.
I turned a hollow into a flat grind the other day to see what the difference was (in metal removal) and it took three passes to go back to a flat grind. Of course there are different ways to do it...
The new one with the skeletonized handle is the new Ti Backpacker. It is nearly weightless and you can wrap the handle with cord and remove it later. The hole in the handle also doubles as a bottle opener! Fixed blade, great size, well under an ounce!!!
