300 Bucks tipped me off that the new catalog was already posted on the BCCI website and so I've been looking at it.

One big surprise was the ergo boning knife! I hadn't heard about that one.
A lot of folks are going to have to have that knife. Keep an eye out for it.

The other really interesting offering was the Ecolite 110 and Ecolite 112. Those look very nice. Can't wait to order those for sure.

Thank you to Craig for the heads up.

Gordon I like the B&C 113....yep 113. It looks like 112 handle on a fixed blade drop point skinner. Oh and it's got Elk handles ;).

That was my 1st choice on the "must have" list:) I'll bet we see that 113 with a premium steel blade choice in the future too.

I was looking at that too! Looks like Buck lifted the front bolster off the 112! :) I didn't track that one down on the price list. I imagine CJ is proud of that one...LOL! Btw, I love the grind on this knife. We definetly need to see more blades with this grind. Could see this knife upsized too.

Also, two pages are missing from the pdf file. The page with the Czar-T and the page with the Paradigm are missing. Wonder about that since the Paradigm still seems to be hung up in production.

All in all a great year for Craig. Lots of new 300 series being offered. If you notice Buck has four colors in the paperstone so I expect more of those paperstone 300s coming out. The yellow delrin is cool too (how long before a safety orange 301?). Gonna be an exciting year of buying new Bucks.

OK,I guerss we can't see these knives unless we are a member?Would like to see them that sounds like a great knife.

After they had those American made Canoes for sale at the Christmas factory store riot, I thought we might see a USA Canoe in premium steel. I figured I would then have to throw a bucket of cold water on Bear Claw to keep from getting too excited......so no bucket needed.... that 113 is really nice looking..... 300

Plumb wikipedia says:

Paua (section Shell description) Paua or pāua is the Māori name given to three species of large ... Haliotis ), known in the USA as abalone , and in the UK as ormer shells. ... some ocean farming of the shells occur in New Zealand.

man, all these sound great! first you guys got me started on trying a couple Buck knives which lead to several. Then after reading about the 300 series I tried one as my first "traditional" knife and now have each current USA version. Grabbed a Vantage select and after hearing about the Avid and Pro from ya'll grabbed those. Grabbed the alphas after seeing Flat's pics of em. And now hearing all this ya'll have me checking buck's site every hour to see when they are up to start my next list!

That there looks like a full blown case of Buck fever!

So when the actual catalog comes out, who do they send it to? I bought a knife recently off of web specials and I am signed up for the e-mails(supposedley), will I get a catalog automatically, do I request one or what?

Thanks
Fritz

Fritz,
Nope! If you want a copy of the dealers catalog fritz, you must be a Buck dealer or a member of the BCCI.

Thanks jb,

It's my intent to be a member asap. Doesnt make financial sense not to go lifer right of the bat-problem is I keep spending my potential dues on Bucks:thumbdn::thumbup:-Does Buck make a double-edge sword?:p

Found It-It was in the Package that the club sent me that i somehow located-I had read it too-just forgot it already.

There is a lot of new things in this catalog. I think it a very good year.
Another change that I just think is a great positive change...The bantam series is now going to be made in the USA. I've always liked that pattern but would never buy one due to China production. I will have the large one in a 3 5/8th blade and camo just as soon as I can be assured its American! Very pleased with this move by Buck!

I'm assuming these knifes DO NOT have liners due to the low price. Does anyone have a Bantam and have an opinion about handle rigidity?

I'm right there with ya in line. there are several models i'd like to have like the xtract etc..but are enough USA models to buy instead that I've passed for now. Always thought some Bantams tossed in the glove boxes, sheds and tackle boxes would be a good option. thanks for the info
