It has been a little over two months since I picked up my large Sebenza at the Blade Show and it has been in my right front pocket ever since. It is a 2001 model with ironwood inlays. I must say it is no worse for the wear! I only have a few wear marks on the clip and the rest is still unmarred. Of course I am very careful what I cut! I do ALWAYS carry a second, smaller knife in my left pocket, as that only makes good sense!
The woddy just has a different feel to it. The wood sticks out just enough to give a good grip and makes the knife attractive as can be to boot. I still admire the precision with which the Sebenza is built. I have had many customs that are not to the standard of precision the Sebenza is. Of course thats what makes them customs! It took a while but I finally realized that precision of build was what I have been looking for all along in a knife, and the Sebenza certainly fits the bill!
