Ok I give up. I am allergic to hops and it has gotten so bad that I have drank my last beer. The only real issue is that Jack on the rocks just isn’t a great yard work -toss the ball for the dogs-shooting pool-truck maintenance-bbq with friends beverage so the hunt is on for a replacement that I can toss into the cooler…

Allergic to hops….my condolences brother, I’ll pour one out in your memory.

I on the other hand am sitting on the back patio for the first day of the season to be in short sleeves while doing so. Beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest. And it called for a Disco Wolf or two.

Yep it really sucks! Ive been a bourbon and beer drinker for over 40 years and now I am pretty much done with both! It all went south when I started my weight loss. As the 120+ Lbs started melting off I started noticing headaches and stomach issues ( after 40 years of abuse neither we’re ready for health living). I gave up all drinking for the year it took to lose the weight. Then when I settled into the 190’s I started to try and live again and found that the Jim Beam and Budweiser were no longer the life blood they had been. I found that Jack Daniels treated me well ( guessing its the extra filtering out of the good stuff) and I started chasing lower and lower hops levels. For a long time I could still have a few Coronas or even a six pack of colors light but now even those are gone….

Good health is more important than good drink. You’re doing it right:thumbsup:. Those empty calories sneak up on us.
