My first attempt at modding or pimping. A work in progress.

Looks great already! How did you do it?

Take a look back in this thread. I gave my first attempt at modding with an Esee 5 and...well...beer!

Here is the end result after removing the coating, sanding, patina, and dyeing the handles:

…JUST JOKING!!! ^ That was me trying to be clever, that's the wife's "beer". I had a hard time choosing my favorite knife since I like all of my stable, but I think I'll have to go with the Campagna Harness Jack in Walnut Jigged Bone and either a Duvel or a Guinness.

This STARTED as a cigar decompression with a D.E. Liga Privada Flying Pig T52 and a small SAK...

Looks cool. I think the patina turned out nice.

On my bk11 I stripped the coating, then polished the blade, mostly the edge and spine, then etched with ferric acid. The shiny area is where I applied nail polish. Next is making some handles and then possibly bluing the etched area.

I am typically an IPA or craft brew drinker.. but sometimes... an ice cold silver bullet just works... after grilling some lamb chops for dinner:
