Beer of choice...

I don't get you guys. You haven't tasted beer until you have tried a Sierra Nevada beer from Chico California. They make the best beer available check them out. Summerfest is the best, followed by Bigfoot and celebration ale. Don't get me wrong there are other good beers out there, but you can't go wrong with an ice cold Sierra nevada!

Awwww yeeeeaaah! I grew up in Chico! Sierra Nevada, baby!:D:thumbup:

Good 'ol Huber Bock used to be my favorite but it has changed. I love most Doppelbocks. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is at the top of my store bought beers. I'm a home brewer so I fancy my own beers, usually pretty hoppy pale to red color and flowing out of my kegs. Should brew this weekend.

Anyone know of Innis & Gunn? My first time trying this oak-aged Scottish beer... and I love it.
Something new I'm trying out... I'm not a beer snob, though I'd like to think you have to go to to beer-snobby places for the best stuff, so I was surprised to find it in a generic Pathmark supermarket.

"natural hints of toffee, vanilla and oak" :)

Back to drinking one I originally came across in the early 70s - Bass Pale Ale.

My Warsteiner glasses, a case of 12. They're made by Ritzenhoff Crystal (RC).
I don't think I've ever poured a proper beer, so I did it this past weekend.
Note: The case got ruined due to a flood :(

I don't like this beer :p

...

How do you mean that? I know it's the oldest (continuous running) brewery in the U.S.

Yuengling is local to me. Growing up, we used to be able to buy a quart for a dollar. Oh, the good ole' days. Then it became more popular outside of the "coal-region" here in PA and the prices started to go up. I'll still drink it on occasion. If you are in the Pottsville, PA area, take the brewery tour. The tasting room at the end is worthwhile if your tour guide is feeling generous.
For what it is worth, right now I'm drinking Becks. (If you noticed the time stamp, I work 3rd shift :D)

Lately I've been loving this fancy imported beer that I tried last time I went into the city, Its called Castello and its Italian. I brought 3 cases back with me and am fast working my way through em. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd go down a treat! Especially when you live in the desert!

For a laugh you can't go past 'SEXY LAGER'. There are six different bottles, all have ladies in swim suits on the labels and you can scratch the swim suits off to reveal their naked bodies........ PRICELESS!

And the beer ain't half bad!

Wow, I didn't realize how many different types of beer there are! I need to broaden my horizons :D

I usually drink some species of Shiner or Dos Equis, but what I really want right now is an Old Peculier.

Dick's Cream Stout from a regional brewer.

Otherwise, many good micro-brewed stouts & porters to tickle the tastebuds. I count myself blessed to live in a time when so much quality is available.

Best on-site beer I ever had was Andech's Doppelbock Dunkel, brewed at a monastery in Bavaria which I was lucky enough to live close to and visit regularly. The monks there have been brewing beer since 1455, so they're getting pretty good at it.
