Hand carved Shibuichi beetles.
Sterling silver blades of wheat with 14k gold heads.
Beetles have 18k pincers and antenna.
Background is textured bronze with patina.
Liners are textured stainless steel.
Blade and backspring are W2.
The blade is a dagger profile with a Hamon.
Blade pull is 14k red gold.

Blade length 3 24/64"
closed 4"
overall 7 34/64"

In my opinion this is by far the most impresive knife I have made to date. Certainly the most technically challenging.

I think one with the blade continuing down on the same profile of the handle would look good also.

Probably one of the most impressive folding blades I've ever come across on this site, just exquisite. If it were in my price range I'd buy it in a second.

Is your handle work inspired by traditional Japanese kozukas? That was the first thing this piece reminded me of.
