I know it wasn't that used, but the little changes to the fit and finish, sharpness, and big color change of the Osage, left me shocked.

It's the same knife, pin, same everything. It was all perfect except for the blade. The blade was uber dull, but it really looked unused. It was a trip unwrapping it, my eyes got bigger and bigger. This thing is a razor now and the tip is needle sharp. It was awesome before, but now it POPS! The pics don't do it justice.

I'm happy with both. I had the darker one and yah it was cool. Kinda seemed like a toned down Bacote or even Walnut, a little on the boring side. But the new handle has an exclamation mark next to it and I know that in time it will get back to the darker appearance it once had.

So the first pic is of the pommels pushed equally forward with a ruler for a OAL comparison.

This next pic is of the blade grinds almost starting at the same point, for a blade length comparison. Note the Fighter is slightly behind the Woodsman and is still longer.

Just a in sheath comparison.

This is my first Woodsman. I waited a long time and finally I landed one. My advice to those that want both a Woodsman and a Fighter is- Buy the Woodsman first. The Fighter's size and aggressive swedge, grind, and handle renders the Woodsman, almost a oversized Kephart IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love the Woodsman, but I purchased my Fighter first and kinda got jaded.
