Before they get 'dirty'...(sunglasses required).

Awesome Gundy. I love the orange with the green nylon. I am actually going to copy you but I have to get my Busse's fitted first. I was going to go with Martin too but there is a sheath maker in the midwest of USA who does the exact same work. Martin and this maker know each other and from what I was told Martin and him are friends. With that being said I am going to try him first since he's in the US.

Thanks for all the comments;

To answer some questions, the brass colored thingy's are indeed 'Fenix E01' torches.

If you look at the last photo of the Izula, the paracord is simply pulled through, cut and burnt/melted in. Held up nice n' tight... :)

As for the HEST screws, I do not like storing things in handles, so there was no need to have the slotted type.

Edited to add; I have picked up a couple of the new LMF Army Firesteels (model 2.0) with the built in safety whistles. hey should compliment the kit nicely and gain back a little storage space in the front sheath.

Incredible pics mate!
That Orange and OD is really a magnificent combo!!

I'm a bit late, but only just stumbled upon this thread..

How did you tie the end that extends beyond the paracord locks? You did it on both sheaths. Do you have a video, or some other link, that would show how it's done?

Thanks.

Mate, that typically known as a Chris Reeve Knot. If you type that into youtube, you will find a few vids on it. Easy to do, neat and not shown in the pic, you can tuck it out of the way on the other side of the maxpedition sheath (elastic) opposite to the Fenix E01.
