(Edited to add: Mods- I believe this to be a "mid tech" so apologies if in the wrong section)

Overspent on an incoming grail piece I had to have, so need to even things out by sacrificing this one.

Todd Begg Mini Glimpse Friction Folder. It is like new in the nylon zipper pouch, only out for photos and occasional handling.

I'm the first to say I'm not generally into friction folders, but this thing is so nice I don't even care. The fit and finish are off the charts excellent.

Not only is it a looker, the action ranks up with the best I've ever handled. Hard to describe... like a creamy smooth, fluid feel. Almost like it's hydraulically damped.

Nope, it doesn't lock, but for day to day typical slicing things open, it will be fine. Super handy size and light. Todd left the flipper on these to serve as a guard, and when your finger is behind that and your thumb on the horn, the blade isn't going anywhere.

Begg Knives have done a few different variations of this model. This one has the stonewashed blade (all are N690, IIRC) with the drilled fuller. It also has black G-10 handles in the "radiant" or "sunburst" pattern. Has the ridged Ti back spacer as well. Internal stop pin design.

Blade is bite-you-if-you're-not-careful-sharp and perfectly centered. Again the action is just a total joy to use. Sweep the horn with your thumb and it quickly becomes addictive. Just a great piece and honestly if it doesn't sell, I won't be all that bummed. Really like this one a lot and I think you would too if you can get past the lack of a lock. By the way, there is absolutely zero side to side wiggle, and the blade doesn't just fall closed if you take your thumb off the blade. The whole design just works exactly like it should.
