Beginner's Frontier Hawk Video

I am a beginner at edged tools. I've learned a lot from this forum and I made a video about basic modifications to get my hawk ready for work. It shows fitting the head to the haft, re-profiling with a file and stone, some inept wood splitting, feather and stick carving. Feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for the kind words. It's 1055, so it balances impact resistance with edge holding. I was worried I put too fine an edge which would roll when I used it. It worked out OK.
