Wouldn't a handyman be pretty close to what you want then?

Have you had any experience with the Forager model? It seems to be a great all around camp knife without being too heavy. I also love it's clip and curves.
You are making me hungry! Thanks for the insight--those specs seem right to me as well. It's little brother is a handsome kid.I have not had any experience with the Forager beyond handling them at Blade. I like the model a lot. I have it's little brother a Rapscallion i love. I would love a Forager in tapered 3/16 for the extra forward mass and inertia development for my uses. I'd love to take that foraging this next autumn
This is the Rapscallion It's A2 so it will take longer to patina

And this is how it happens... I'll get the Forager, and realize that a smaller version would be great too. Though the Asp, Recluse, and Sneaky Pete have all been on my radar lately...I love the Rapscallion, like a butcher knife with attitude![]()

And the Camp Knife... there is one available now; if the pull for a Forager was not so great, it would have been the Camp Knife first.
Gaucho, Woodsman, the rare Padre or even rarer Santokumuk...
A Gyuto with a bullseye (tube filled with resin) would be perfect
