Man you guys all do 1st class work. True blade artist. Thank you for your contributions to this industry; that we all love.

I like seeing these "Behind the Scenes" photos...

Why do they dip the points of some of the pattern blanks a blue/black color?

I'm still not familiar enough with all the Fiddleback models especially when viewing with regards to scale and was wondering which pattern/knife is in the top (first) photo? Bushboot?

That means Andy has only taken the grinds to the 120grit belt. He still has to finish grind them.

Yes it's a Bushboot

Check out my Luke Swenson T-Shirt. Luke is a fireman who makes knives in Texas. He sits next to me at the Guild Show. His work is outstanding!

I have never heard of him but after looking at his knives I may have to pick up a slippie from him. Hell, he only loves an hour from me. Time to get in touch with him. Thanks

um..........hopefully ill have a name for it Friday morning

Ohhhh. In that case, we have another name contest ...

The pattern kinda reminds me of that van Gogh Starry Night painting but that's mostly blues and we already have a Starry Night. How about something like Fiery Night or Bloody van Gogh?

If ya'll really want to step it up a notch, why don't you put the unnamed material on an unnamed blade? That would be a fun listing. :-)

Lol at Mariachi Micarta! You know what it reminds me of is Arizona or Aztec Micarta, those would be cool names too. Not as funny as Mariachi though haha :)

im sure Dylan @ Shadetree already has a name for it........but we don't always use it....I wish I could be on speaker phone when someone calls him about ordering some "Professor In a Blender" "Purple", "Yellow jacket" or "Putting Green" burlap:D

Isn't it Mexican Hammock or Poncho or something like that? I remember seeing it on their table at Blade. Wish I could remember the name.
