Behind the Scenes @ Fiddleback Forge 1/25/2017-??

coffee bag is 1/8" TT, The bolstered Bushfinger is 3/32" SFT and the black bolstered sapphire Hunter is 5/32" TT

Thanks Phillip... I've seen a few Bushcrafter Sr. finished out in 1/8" steel but I don't think I've ever seen a 1/8" steel Hunter?

I don't think I ever noticed this before but what is the purpose of the smaller pin sized hole down by the butt end of all the steel blanks near the bulls eye tube? When the scales are glued up that particular small drilled hole is always covered.

That hole was drilled to help us tell the difference between A2 & O1(A2 has the extra hole)

There wasn't going to be any BC Sr.'s in 1/8" until a handful came through the pipeline when we transitioned from one person doing the scribing to another one. More like an "ooopsie"

So would you consider that the "A" hole?

Where I work, we wear badges around our necks. One day Officer Brown lost the badge. Management decided we would all punch a secondary hole for attachment to the lanyard. Forever more this is known as the BROWN HOLE !!! LOL!!!
