I had a pleasant surprise today. I received a few things from a friend and fellow Shark, this was included unexpectedly.

Excuse my ignorance, but we're model is this?

that was a EDC II one-off a Friday or 2 back.

Andy liked it so much he had us make a pattern of it the following Monday when we were back in the shop.

Super cool! I was hoping that was what that was. I really like that grind.

That's awesome. I first met John back in 2001 in Anchorage at the Land of the Mignight Sun Custom Knife Show. He was the only knife maker there that struck up a conversation with me and he really introduced me to the world of custom knives. I ordered a knife from him that day for my dad and made a new friend that day.

He is a very personable person.

Fantastic maker as well. I hope to get something from him one day. FLAWLESS!

Here Andy is checking his rotary platen

Here Andy has put on a fresh belt. He is using a old piece of a 36 or 80grit( i didn't look) belt to radius or curve the edges of the new belt.

These posts make me want to learn how to make knives. I hope you guys picked up some tips from the shop visit, standing like that for extended periods has got to be a neck and back killer

Andy has already made a table for his grinder that is lower in attempt to grind sitting down.

It definitely has negative effects on your neck and vertebra

Wow, the top knife in the picture looks amazing. I love that design and I want one.

If Kyle doesn't mind I think we'd all like to see some more pics of his knife. The design looks very intriguing.
