Behind the Scenes @ Fiddleback Forge 3/30/2016-??

Oh man that cleaver shaped one (matador if I'm following the thread correctly) really gets the blood flowing!

I saw it...and it's on my grail list! And in bog oak!!!

I'll be shutting off all lights, appliances, etc tonight in hopes my Internet Speed is on my side!

 Good luck with that one Tony! I'll try to help out any way I can. My internet situation is a disaster right now, but maybe I can help you contact some people.;)

Gus

I'm telling ya Gus...my computer situation is ridiculous. My boys have been teasing me about this dinosaur I'm using for years, but it hasn't been until Fiddleback Fridays that I've cared. Not to mention that up here in the hills and dirt roads where I live we've got just about the slowest connections imaginable. I could build a fire and send messages in smoke faster than my internet can upload a message!

First world problems! Really...I've got nothing to complain about my friend!

Tony

whew

im excited..

it was only $95

i was expecting to have to replace my entire unit. It's 18yrs old

LOL :D I know how you feel Phillip! I ended up replacing mine this year, it was 24 yrs old! It was still running, but it was sucking up so much electricity I had to replace it. I financed a new unit thru Costco and cut my energy bill in half. It's almost paying for itself!

LOL!:D Yeah Tony, I guess it's not so bad when all we got to complain about is our internet speed!

Since Allen's knives didn't end up for sale tonight, I still have some money in my knife fund. I am being 100% serious when I say that I was considering buying all 3 if they were on sale tonight and the right steel thickness. All I can say is I hope those are going to be available at Blade.

Thanks for posting all the pics, Phil. The new machete packaging looks great!

The machete has taken a big step up folks. I'm proud of what the crew came up with on the packaging.

Caught Chris out in the shop this morning. He is center punching his drill holes. It is very hard to scribe CPM 154 and this makes it easier for him to see exactly where to drill.
