OK, so both knives are almost done, finally. Both have their little flaws, but hey these are only the third and fourth knives I have finished. The Bowie styled knife was taken off the list because I am not happy with the way it was coming out :(. I am still going to finish it, but I want to give something away that I would be proud to have someone say that I made it.

So here are my give away rules:

  • Open to anyone in continental North America.
  • If you live off the continent and are willing to pay the shipping go ahead and enter, but I would need shipping cost before sending it out, I am on a limited budget:(
  • Your post number will be your entry.
  • Everyone gets one entry, Gold and above get two.
  • Post “I'm in” and whether you want knife #1 or #2 and left or right hand sheath.
  • It must be legal for you to own a fixed bladed knife with a 4.5” blade in your area. This is up for you to know not me.
  • Please if you have more then one account here, only use one not all of them. I am not some high end knife maker so its not worth your time to try and rip off the honest people.
  • If any of the above rules are broken you entry will be forfeit.
  • Entries will be accepted till July 8th 2010 at 6pm central time, I will use an online random number generator after that and post the winner by 9pm the same night. Unless I am called into surgery before that. In that case I will post the winner as soon as I can type again. The knife will be shipped out to the winner 1 week after the draw to give me time to make the sheath:o
  • Only one knife is going so only one winner.

I am setting this up so that everyone can come in and enter.

Blade: 4 1/2" Scandi Grind (will be polished once sharpened)
Handle: Maple Burl Tung Oil Beeswax finish red spacers 4 3/4"

Handle: Maple Burl Tung Oil Beeswax finish Black spacers 4 5/8"

Still need to do the Beeswax on both handles, just waiting for the tung oil to cure.

thanks for the opprotunity.. and congrats on the milestone.. I've been here almost 9 years and haven't even gotten close to 1000 posts.

I'm in and thanks for the chance. You're a brave man and must be proud of your work. I know anything I made I wouldn't let anybody else have, much less use, much less see. I probably wouldn't even admit that I made it. Good luck with your knife making endeavors and thanks for letting us get a chance to admire your work!

I'll take a right hand sheath and I'll edit this to add which one I would prefer once I see the pics.

Alright, just saw the pics and those are beautiful! I'm beyond impressed and you have a lot to be proud of. I'll take #1.

I'm in for a left handed sheath. Much like Ren, I prefer #2.
