Anyone ever heard or used one. My father picked one up at an auction. Seems like it could do a lot of different things.

Like what? its made for making molding.

This one is designed for sharpening. I have the manual and it mentions saw blades, knives, axes, drill bits etc.

Got a link? pic? anything? Theirs more than one belsaw.

Is it a 1055 Sharp-all? Got a thin saw grinding wheel on the right and a smaller wheel in a tilt table on the left? It's a workhorse - you're gonna love it.

The Belsaw 8" wheels are kinda spendy, but when mine wore out, I fashioned a little bushing to adapt 7-1/4" steel-cutting abrasive circular saw blades. Slightly coarser grit, but otherwise very satisfactory for many tasks. If you're grinding sawblades on it, or chainsaw chain, you need the factory wheels, because you can shape the edge to your desired tooth contour. General grinding, not so much.

Thanks guys, it looks very handy. My father picked it up for $40.00.

Oh geez. They go on Peebay for 3-400 bucks. I paid 500 for mine locally, cause it came with a buncha extra stuff and the old boy had some good stories.
