Belt arm for 6X18 Surface Grinder?

Does anyone have any plans for a belt arm attachment for a surface grinder?

I've got an idea in mind for one for my 6X18 Norton Automatic, but I'm sure there's a much easier way to go.

Any help would be appreciated.
