patch knife & belt ax combo,
knife info : 1/8'' 1080. The handle is epoxy soaked hemp cord.
The finish was achieved by a combination of mustard, nitric acid, and some other things. I was experimenting with aged blade finishes.
It is 6 1/2'' long with a 2 1/2'' blade.
belt hawk info : I made it from 1080. It has a curly maple haft and a forged finish head.
It measures 13'' with a 5'' head from the edge to the back of the eye. Would fit nicely tucked into a belt for a reinactor, or into a pack for a light weight camp tool.
price for combo is $150, includes a sheath for the knife
