Belt ax

This is a belt ax i just finished.The body of the head is from a farriers rasp wrapped around a core of 1095 and forge welded together.The handle is stained hickory.The leather cover is hand stitched 9oz. domestic leather.Thanks for looking.

Very nice. The head cover is well done as well. I have a couple of rasps a guy sent me just for this purpose. It is on my "do list", but keeps getting pushed further back.
