Dimensions: Head overall 4 1/2" - Cutting edge 2 3/8" wide.

Steel: Ball pein hammer.

Head Weight: 11 oz.

Haft/Handle: Ash, 10 1/2" long

Finish: Aged finnish.

This axe is stamped with my makers mark NR and come with a leather belt carrier/sheath.

Hand crafted in the traditions of long ago. It is a reminder of an era past. A very nice reproduction axe/hatchet that will take and keep a good edge. It has never been carried or used. Functional as well as beautiful. Great for many jobs around the camp, home or shop.

Carry it on your belt or in your back pack for those hunting and fishing trips.

This axe is also very useful for the woodworker and sculptor for the accurate removal of waste stock. Great for green woodworking, trimming billets for country chairs, spoons and bowl making.

Price: $140.00 plus $12 shipping with insurance. (USA and Canada)
PayPal, check or money order.

Thanks everyone for looking.

Wow!! That is a beautiful piece of work. I made my living for many years as a carpenter, sometimes doing some rough hewn work, and that is a fine looking tool you have crafted there, imho.

Thank you Fewpop.

There are a lot of things you can forge with ball pein hammers. Great steel.
