I'm using the stuff all of the time now!

Post HT grinding is running cooler. A 120 grit with belt grease scratch pattern on my disc grinder looks like a 320 grit without grease.

I bought a tube of the stuff from Scheffield Supply.

It's not for you , Pat, or for me again. It creates a huge mess as the belt rotates and throws off the gunk.

Hmm I haven't noticed a problem with mess. Maybe the stuff I got was waxier? It's pretty firm stuff. My shop also have been very cold so that might contribute to that as well.

It was over 30F though the other day and no mess.

Your mileage may vary I guess.

sticky goo on belts...seems like a good way to get grit contamination, drop the sticky belt on the floor and it will be covered with all sorts of grit

This stuff was the consistency of beeswax so maybe something different. Whatever it is though I'm liking it.

Thanks Frank for the heads up. You do know me pretty well, messy I don't like. ;)
I'll let you know how it goes.
