It's now been 12 weeks since I've ordered (placed May 26). No updates from Kyle.
I got my grinder from Kyle last friday. I ordered it May 13 just under 16 weeks. He offered me a refund a couple of weeks ago as it was taking much longer than expected. But i decided to wait it out because I had already waited this long. Keep emailing him he will eventually respond. I'm in the process of setting it up now.

That's entirely too long if it wasn't expressed at the time of ordering. And the lack of communication is inexcusable. I hope your grinders work like a charm, forever. Don't think you'll get much follow up support. lol

Google reviews show he's getting shredded there too.

Upon order I was told there was an 8-12 week lead time. So 16 weeks isn't totally unreasonable. I emailed Kyle multiple times and he got back to me about the time he shipped my grinder. I was emailing about some customization and since he had already shipped.my grinder it was too late to alter it. However, he was very willing to work with me, he apologized for the delayed responses and said he would do whatever necessary to resolve the issue. You said you don't think there would be much follow up support and I have to disagree, based off my conversations with him. Kyle seems like a very genuine person who cares about the quality of his products and his customers. For the price and quality I don't think these grinders can be beat.

Well, I'm glad to hear you are one who is happy with the transaction!

Poor communication is a deal breaker for me. It's one thing to wait. It's another to wait and have no idea what is going on!!

Since communications with the grinder maker are a topic in this thread, I will share my recent experience.

I had started out with a budget grinder and even though with the help in this forum I solved my belt tracking problems, my dream was getting a Claryx belt grinder. I liked how well it is made, how flexible it is (it turns to the side, up and down and the table can also be moved around freely) and that it can run a 20" contact wheel which I want to do and that they have a rotary platen.

When a job worked out and I came into a bit of money, I decided to make the upgrade.

This was the beginning of a long email exchange with Claryx and the level of communications and effort they made to satisfy the customer was remarkable to me. The entire email exchange is 96 emails (yeah, I'm probably the worst possible customer) and they often replied multiple times a day. Since I already had a VFD and a motor I wanted a custom package and it took quite some time to figure out what I exactly needed, including the add ons. I also asked for some customizations, for example a reverse switch in their control panel in the grinder base. Their responsiveness and attention to detail did not change at all, even after I had already made the purchase and paid the bill. They offered me to deliver within in ten days but since I went on holiday right after ordering, I will be getting it next week.

Here are two photos of the grinder (I got mine in gunstock grey which I prefer to the blue):

And an unboxing video I found on youtube: youtu.be/1C4dLALiC0I

Being from Germany, I was happy that they are from inside the EU (Bulgaria) although if you order from outside the EU you will probably not have to pay the 20% European Sales Tax which is probably more than international shipping.

Very excited to be trying it out next week.

Hi how did it end up with your machine ?
Regards Max

Horsewright is spot on in his reply... Failure... to recognize and get help when needed will eventually kill his business. Outsource SOMETHING there are plenty of services you can use to help a small business become a Mid size one
We are of course being armchair quaterbacking His business although with good intentions
Hopefully someone will get thru to him and I wish him the best success
