Curious what grit belts you all normally buy!

Here's a sample of what I'm buying, what would you add? Or get rid of?

2x72-40 R821Y Norzon

2x72-60 R823X Norzon

2x72-80 R823X Norzon

2x72-120 R823X Norzon

2x72-180 R823X Norzon

2x72-220 R823X Norzon

I'm no expert but I'd say you can drop the 40, 80 and 180. Add a 400 and a couple of higher grits if you want. I found that until my grinding improves I like to finish with only 400 and then hand sand 400 again and move up higher all by hand. Not the quickest way but I like the control I get. I may just end on 400 because I think a perfectly clean 400 looks great.

Get 40 and 220. No need for anything else unless you just want the machine finish other than 220. I hand sand to the desired grit

I load up on 36 and 60 grit. Those get used the most.

I keep a few 120 and scotch brite belts for blending.

My higher grits, if needed, are used 120s.

Works for me!

I ended up with 60, 120 and 220
Figured ill just experiment with it and see what I like/prefer

Thanks for the info!
