Actually, they should be 220/110V up to 2HP, but the 2HP will blow 20A breakers at startup sometimes.

it is possible to make knives with the 4x36 but you go through belts REAL FAST. I made my first two knives (three?) on a 4x36 and I went through belts fast. Save your money and get a 2x48 or a 2x72, you will be SO MUCH happier cause then your only limitations are your skill!
