Too bad the condor Hudson bay isn't a bit smaller of a blade. I like the design a lot, not a fan at all of condors sheaths but I can get a custom made for it and still be way under my budget

The Reaper should make you plenty happy in use. Buck makes a fine knife.

The Fallkniven F1 is a fine knife but has a shorter blade than requested in OP. I would highly recommend the S1. The S1 is also stainless as well (laminated VG-10). It is a smidge over budget at $167 at Knifeworks:

So far it seems like a good knife, its oddly my first buck too. I really dislike the sheath though, its obvious they put 99% of the budget in the knife

Something from Bark River with 5-7" blade is going to run higher than $150.

I was going to suggest the Bravo 1, until I saw his requirements.
