• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

belts

I wear a Wilderness Tactical (polymer lined) Instructor's Belt. Keeps my drawers up and doesn't twist and roll with holsters or sheaths etc. hanging off of it.

that is a nice belt. i want one.

i have an awesome kennith cole dress belt that's brown on one side, black on the other, and the buckle rotates. then there's the cheap belt i regularly wear and the ancient one i strop my knives on.

Solid leather strip!

It's the only way to go. Got mine at a local leather store years ago, and it will probably outlive me.

For $55 and change i think there are better belts out there, WT, blackhawk, etc. I wear a paracord belt made from 50ft of line when out. Sure, it does'nt carry any weight but my pants; but I clip my knife to the waistband and I'm good to go. I wear a pack 99% of the time I'm out in the woods, so i don't like a bunch of gear hanging off me except maybe a dozen knives! joking!

I wear a TacTailor rigger belt every day. There's no way a department store belt would survive my belt kit.. LOL. LM Surge, bit kit, cellphone, Fenix P1D-CE, and a pair of first-aid gloves.

Wilderness Tactical Instructors belt. It's too rugged and practical not to have out there. (Also worn almost daily when in town.) These belts are excellent for supporting a holstered pistol, as well.

I'm a leather guy with a steel buckle. Every once in a while I rub Neatsfoot oil on it, and it seems to hold up....If it lasts 5 years, I am happy. Gene

I have a double thickness leather gun belt....nice and stiff, and you can't beat leather in my book.

Galco leather gun belt or a galco instructer belt. sometimes a filson ranger belt

I wear a leather belt that Dwayne at Armoralleather made for me a couple years ago. I would challenge most anyone to put their belt through the wear and tear I do mine, and have it last as well. Yes, I have gone through 3 different brands of riggers belts and multiples of many leather belt makes out there. Mine is approx. 3/16" thick with a brass buckle on it. It might as well be the Batman belt with all the tools and gear I hang from it.

mymindisamob,

I think my belt is quite similar to yours.

I wear a leather horse saddle girdle strap that I modified into a belt with my solid brass rodeo belt buckle. It's about 3/16th inch thick and nearly 2inches wide.
Very strong and it will probably last longer than I do.

 Yep, I think this belt may end up as a sadly misshapened heirloom.:D
