I have a 4x36 sander. (Don't yell at me :D) Any suggestions where to go to get good belts for grinding steel?

There's more than 1 knifemaker that uses one of those. Is there a disk on it? That may actually be more applicable to knifemaking. I don't have many suggestions for belts in that size, sorr.

Supergrit is where I have purchased my last shipment and I loved it (except for the green zirconia 60 grit- doesn't cut steel very well IMO). I got a variety of belts and all were quality, and shipping and communication were great.

home Depot and Lowes both carry aluminum oxide belts for them I also get some of mine out of Ohio look up barbkat on ebay then go to her web page. I cant find here card right now but she has a pry good line of belts as well. Doug

Grinder and belts came from Home Depot. Aluminum oxide dosen't seem to hold up very well to steel. I will let others know if I find a better belt, and am open for suggestions. I will check out "barbkat".
