Ben Seward, JS ~ Saratoga Montage

That is one sweet knife Ben ! And as Caleb said, the checkering takes it to a whole new place. Love the knife and the images.
Cheers Keith

Impressed, as always.

That checkering looks pretty good Ben, I like how you worked round the pin and made it a focal point of the knife instead of trying to disguise it.

Great job.

Let's not forget the fine blade. A great package overall. Being a gun guy from way back, I really appreciate checkering for both esthetics and utility. Hope to see more Ben Seward knives with checkering in the future. And I think J. White would be proud to have inspired this new avenue of creativity.

Wow.... I really enjoy seeing your knives and Caleb's photos-this one is great. I really like the "format" (?) of the checkering. It's one thing to be able to do nice checkering, another to be able to place it in an appealing way that adds beauty instead of distract from the knife. Beautiful package...

Thanks, y'all. I will definitelty be doing more checkering in the future. It not only adds a new demension asthetically but it's very functional. The extra texture added to the sculpting makes for a very secure grip. I'll be exploring some high relief carving in conjunction with checkering as well.

Ben I saw this knife on facebook and It rocks well done I like everything about it .
