Hi All!

Does anyone know how the G10 handles are secured to the tang of a Benchmade 162? Is it purely by the 3 flared titanium tubes, or is it helped by an epoxy? I want to sand it down and need to know if i can knock off the flared ends of the titanium tubing and still be safe in the presence of an epoxy.

Vit

No epoxy. Just titanium tubes flared holding pressure.

Nope the flared tubing is what holds it on. If you sand off to much of the flare then you'd likely have to epoxy it.

thank you for the input! i got confused because Rob, (a.k.a. ApostleP) on youtube, thought it had epoxy.
