I've got a Benchmade 171 Blade Sports Chopper in great condition. It's not mint and I'm not saying like new, but for the price, it's a steal. I've included detailed pictures, and honestly, from the smudging on the blade it looks like it's been used quite a bit. It's only been taken out and used in the woods 3-4 times. For whatever reason, the steel in the blade shows more smears/smuding, etc. The handle still looks new and the blade itself shows wear only on the finish of the blade. It still has near the factory edge with no rolling, chips or anything else that would hinder the performance. It has not been sharpened and only used a few times, so there's plenty of life left in this one. Cosmetically, it looks 80% of new, but actual wear would have it around 96-97%.
I've included plenty of pics for your inspection, so make sure to check them out carefully.
I hate to part with it, but picking up some much needed gear and I've got plenty of choppers. New, the Blade Sports Chopper sells for $300-$350 on the net. I'll take $200.00 plus $12 shipping via US Priority Mail insured. That's over 1/3 off the price of a new one and it's an excellent value for someone looking to get into chopping competitions. Or, it would just make a great chopper out in the woods.
