I have been in the market to purchase a size XXL canopener to supplement my Emerson CQC-T, and came across K5 Tactical spike. Based on the good reviews of the hawk itself, I decided to take the plunge and order one of these apparently virtually indestructable deconstructing tools. After two months of waiting (and one month of having been charged on my CC), multiple emails, phone messages, etc., have received no reply or word as to the status of my order, I ordered today a Benchmade 172, after running across it in this forum. It may be more $, but it shipped today and looks to be every bit the hawk that the K5 vaporhawk has turned out to be. I'll try to post a review when it gets here. I now have to dispute the charge by K5 on my credit card. Anyone have one of these Benchmade 172 hawks that can comment on how it compare to the K5?
