Benchmade 2011 Pre-Order Knives are now up on the site. We hope to have pictures of these in the next couple days, please bear with us on this.

New for 2011 is the Benchmade 470 Emissary, an axis assist knife based on the old osborne model 771 (anyone remember this knife?). These are sure to be a hot item as its only the second new assisted axis model in the line.

Also new is the Benchmade 581. This knife is an upgraded 580 with an aluminum bolster, G10 handle scales and premium M390 steel. This knife looks amazing! Fans of the 580 will be happy.

The trend of a year round gold class knife will also continue, as a Benchmade 890-111 Gold Class Torrent has been made available this year. Knife has a sleek blue machined anodized aluminum frame with a detailed carbon fiber inlay and an M390 blade.

Don't miss out on some of the other new knives, there are Rant fixed blades available with new blade styles, Barrage knives with tanto blades, a 915 Triage rescue knife, and some very cool Benchmade 746 Mini Onslaught knives.

A couple of questions:

--will the Mini Barrage be redone in that style?

--I'm interested in the Walnut handle Mini Bone Collector. Would you know if this is a regular item, or if they just made that one batch? If the former, any idea when it will be available again?

I saw a few pics of the 581 and she's definitely a beauty! I'll be sure to pre-order when I drop by and pic up a few 51's next week. And as always, your prices can't be beat!
 
ASBOB: No word on the Mini Barrage being done in this style. Usually if there's a huge outcry or enough demand they end up doing these things though. I would venture to guess we'll know at BLADE in June. ;)

Regarding the Walnut Bone Collector Knives, these are a regular item for 2011 so we'll have more in soon. We placed an order last week for these, and they have been selling out almost instantly. Sign up for notification on the website so you're among the first to know. My guess is 2 or so weeks, depending on how much of the new stuff they try to get out.

67nick: Sounds great. Regarding the 51's you may want to give us a call and place some kind of a hold on these. We only have 6 left from a shipment last week and they are moving fast. Would hate to see you miss out.

Superb value! A 581 with M390 for way under what I'd guess. The Torrent Gold class also looks like a big winner to me

No real solid dates on anything yet, we hope to know more after SHOT next week. I'll update the site and forums if I hear some official word.
