Benchmade 2025 Catalog

Benchmade Benchmade , Jimmy. On P.126, in the Feb. releases, the 565PL-2501; I don't see it elsewhere in the catalog. What's the story on that? Is it a purple/plum bladed (PL?) Mini-Freek with Ultem scales?

Yeah the 565PL-2501 has a purple M4 blade and ultem scales. This is the SHOT show special for 2025 so it won't be in the catalog.

I believe the MSRP is increasing by 11% on January 1, 2025. Is that correct?

Is MAP staying at 10% off MSRP?

For instance, BM 945 currently has a MSRP of
$230.00 and a MAP of $207.00. If MSRP increases by 11% and MAP stays at 10% off MSRP, for the BM 945 we’re looking at a MSRP of $255.30 and a MAP of $229.77.
 
Looking at prices today, it appears MSRP and MAP are now the same. I don't see any increases in MSRP, but -10% for MAP is gone. The MAP discount had been steadily shrinking so this isn't a huge surprise I guess.
 
In looking at the BM 945 at BladeHQ and SMKW, I see a dealer price of $230.00 now which was the MSRP.

If I recall correctly, BM 945 was released in 2021 with a dealer price of 175.00.
 
The New Year is already 6 days old, time to think about new knives.
