Benchmade 275 Adamas Black Limited Edition

Thanks for the pics! THIS is a KNOIFE :)

Ive been looking online and it seems that there aren't any black handled combo edged Adamas?

I got the tan because i wanted the adamas to stand out amongst all my other knives which have black handles

if I had to choose again I would probably still go with tan

No black combo's. Oh, the tan looks great. I liked the all black look, but it is nice to have the tan as it does standout amongst all the black. You will not be disappointed.

That's the thing (disapointment).

I like the grained appearance of the black slabs, it makes a big difference to me (i'm weird?). I pretty much need it combo edge as I work as an industrial technician and I plan on USING this bad boy. I guess I'll do a cutter and get both versions. Sux though cuz i can barely afford just one, dang it.

...considering how much trouble I have putting an edge back on D2, I dread resharpening it!

The next time the 'knife buying fund' is replenished, put the money instead towards a new Edge Pro Apex. It's a great investment for a knife nut. If you're anything like me, you'll end up with sharper edges and you'll find that you use your knives more often because achieving that edge is so much easier and faster.

I am about ready to invest in the Edge Pro Apex. I love those polished edges I see posted here at BF's. But in the meantime I just keep my Sharpmaker set up on my worktable and give the knives I've used for the day a few strokes to bring back up the edge. I have found it easier to maintain the edge, rather than having to bring it back up from dull.

Silent John, I would like to hear your first impressions of the Adamas when you get it.

No doubt. You'll find that the Edge Pro is excellent for this as well.

how do you think the 275 would look with digital desert camo handles

i was looking at up-armored but 85 bucks to do two little scales is a lot
