I got my Benchmade 275 adamas in today, and there are no reviews out there yet so I thought I would give my impressions on it to get some knowledge out there.
Overall:
The knife is very beefy. It is thick and blocky but very ergonomic somehow. It really fills the hand up though. The holes do take off a good bit of weight but it is still pretty heavy. However even with the handle milled out I find that it isnt very blade heavy at all. In fact most of the weight of the knife is in towards the back of the knife. There is a very large lanyard hole it appears to be the same size if not bigger than the lanyard hole on the paramilitary 2. The lock up is very solid and the axis allows the blade to deploy very easily. Due to the heavy blade I find the retention isnt as good as some of my other benchmades but it isnt really a problem. The axis lock has been beefed up to be 25% stronger and it is very noticeable. I cant really disengage the axis lock with one finger like I could others.
Blade:
This blade is pretty thick but not super thick it looks just right. There is a lot of belly on this knife, which is a huge plus for me. I also like the look of the fuller that they added to the blade. They used D2, which has become one of my favorite steels lately. This knife was one of the first benchmades that I got that would push cut receipt paper out of the box so that made me really happy.
Pocket clip:
In the stock photos is shows the knife with one of the arrow pocket clips, but this knife uses a fold over deep carry pocket clip. I actually really like this clip and it allows it to ride low but not so low that you have to dig it out.
I think benchmade really knocked it out of the park with this knife. I think it would be a little overkill for EDC but it would be right at home in the woods or if you use your knife for some hardcore day to day tasks.
I forgot to take pictures but if anyone is interested in the sheath and attachment piece it came with I will snap some. Thanks for reading let me know if you want to see or know anything specific!
