I noticed this on my favorite place to buy Benchmade's. Front page and as a hint to the website, they always have this special discount code you can apply during checkout:)

Definitely going to order one.

Changes are:
154CM to D2
Tan G10 to Dark Green G10
Blacked out hardware
Limited edition #

Yeah, I just saw that too. I think the color of the new scales is a vast improvement, although the change from 154CM to D2 is not that big of a deal for me, I like 154CM.
 
I can't find it. Any additional hints would be appreciated...it's not on GPK or KW.
 
They're gone from that place the OP is alluding to. Grabbed mine as soon as I saw them. One of my favorites already, this should be even nicer.
 
I like my non LE just fine. Making it green and altering the steel don't mean squat to me. I use 'em first and collect 'em later when they get used up.
 
I'm a user as well, no safe queens in my house. I just have a preference for d2, seems to hold an edge for longer than 154cm for me.

I work in the evenings...just read the LE came and went? How long did this blip of an offering last, and anyone know how many there were? Gee, the invisible offering from KW. :rolleyes:

Sounds like it is a Benchmade LE and not a dealer exclusive. This means it should pop up on other dealers sites.
Same setup as the 746-1301 (run of 200), which also seemed to not sit on the sites too long. Perhaps BM is rolling them out slowly.
I'm not a fan of this knife, so I'll pass on it.

I like the blacked out hardware and handles...should have some more color options stock.
 
Those scales are a huge improvement. Looks like it'll carry a bit thinner in the pocket.
