Not sure where this came from. But it popped up on a popular dealer's website. ( They are non paying here so I can't link to it ). Just google this thread title and you will find it. Looks pretty good. Email me for the dealer site.

I was just about to start a thread on the same thing! It's only $107, too! It looks like they tried to beat the Spydie Southard Flipper to the market. Either way, it looks pretty cool.

hmm, google didn't work for some reason. anyway, it's the dealer with probably the most exclusive runs of BMs for the last several years.

Ehh, they can keep it with the 154CM. Why make an Axis lock flipper, and have thumb studs? If it were a frame lock I can see it, but this is not something I'd spend money on.

$107 sounds like a good price for this. When I saw benchmades price of $175 it seemed way overpriced for the steel it uses.
Hopefully, they come out with some special editions. Particularly s30v and some aftermarket g10 slabs...

Agree on the first point, but on the second, not everyone wants to flip every time? The Southard, after all, has the Spyderhole.

I was looking forward to a Benchmade flipper, but this thing is downright hideous. The handles are ugly and the knife is really stubby looking. I think they just picked the wrong guy to design the knife.

I actually kind of like the design for the most part. We all agree the steel stinks, and some of us are sick of brown flippers. But, it seems like they basically took a winning design with the mini griptilian and made it into a a flipper.

It actually reminds me of the Kershaw Tremor. Not saying Benchmade ripped the design off. It just looks kind of like it. I don't care for that brown pattern either. But I would take it over black for sure.

The Southard kind of has to have the hole, it's a trademark as well as the only way Sal would have made it. I guess I get tired of Axis locks on just about everything. When you think flipper, the first lock type that comes to mind is a frame lock or liner lock.

Putting a flipper on an AXIS lock knife seems to me like pushing a Ferrari downhill so you can go faster.

And I was just going to make a thread on this...

Yeah. 3" blade, 4 1/2" closed, 154CM. Too small for my paws. If it were a 3.5" blade and a linerlock I would consider it.
